These terms apply to purchases made from The Fortis Gift House through this website. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under UK consumer law.

Orders

Please check product choices, personalisation, delivery details and the total price before placing an order. After an order is placed, we will provide order information in a form you can keep. We may contact you if information is incomplete or if we cannot fulfil an order.

Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in GBP. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown before payment. Payment must be successfully authorised before an order is fulfilled.

Product descriptions

We aim to describe and present products accurately. Minor differences in colour or presentation can occur because of screens, photography, natural material variation or hand assembly. These do not remove your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet legal requirements.

Personalisation

You are responsible for checking text you submit, including names, spelling, punctuation and capital letters. We may decline unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, abusive or otherwise inappropriate wording. Please also read our Personalisation Policy.

Delivery

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom. Our target dispatch times and other delivery information are set out on the Delivery Information page. Unless a different time has been agreed, goods will be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law.

Cancellations and returns

Eligible non-personalised online orders benefit from statutory cancellation rights. Goods made or personalised to your specifications are generally excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights. This does not affect your rights if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract. Faulty or incorrect goods

Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose where applicable. Contact us if there is a problem and we will handle it in accordance with your statutory rights.

Website availability

We may update products, content or website features from time to time. We do not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom. Mandatory consumer protections and your rights to bring proceedings in an appropriate court are not affected.
